“ Went there on Sunday afternoon and were seated right away. We ordered soup "patasca" which was delicious is different meats and "mote" which is like a corn and scallions. Also, the caldo de gallina soup was very tasty. The "chanfainita" was a bit slaty for my liking but when mixed with the rice it was good. The fish came with rice and beans and it was good. The portions are big and filling. Will definitely go back there. ”

“ I ordered take out from this place. I was in the mood for some pollo saltado and decided to give this place a try based off the reviews of large portions. The hardest part was ordering since the person did not speak English. I put my order in and hoped I was going to the right dish. Well the portion was indeed large. The preparation time was longer than anticipated. It tasted great! It was a medley of flavors and I didn't even need the green sauce that usually comes with it. Hence the 4... most places give you the green side sauce but this place did not. The price is also comparable to all the local Peruvian restaurants. ”

“ Im giving this place 5 stars because they have gotten better past few weeks. I dont know new cooks or what. However while chicharones has been upping their prices $18.25 for a lomo Saltado. Myrna is still $16 and the tallarin verde is $17.50 and good for 2 meals. I broke it up into two meals. I've eaten inside here as well. Decor nothing special. However the price with the taste makes it the best option Peruvian wise for food recently. Ive eaten her many times over the past 2 years. ”

“ Stumbled upon this while trying to find a place to get my fix of chaufa (Peruvian fried rice)and a girl cannot complain about the deliciousness that came from this restaurant. It's a really small restaurant that seems to be family owned which is where the best meals come from. We ordered a seafood chaufa the first time to go and it was delicious. My friend and I were able to both eat twice from the order. The second time I decided to come inside and enjoy my meal. I ordered a chicken chaufa and their lomo saltado. Everything was delicious. The beef was not chewy and the fries still had a bit of a crunch. The lady serving us was super nice and attentive. I would really say that this little place is a hidden gem in a neighborhood where pervian food is not hard to find. Will be back soon to try other delicious dishes. ”

“ Ran across this Peruvian spot on yelp when in the mood for some gooooood Chaufa! Well I have to say we found a good local spot. The portions are literally tripled! I definitely ate a few times from the same meal, and with that being said the prices were great. My biggest pit to these peaks is that the service is extremely slow borderline non existent as mentioned in previous reviews. So basically don't come here in a rush or terribly hungry. I'd recommend this place for a great bang for your buck! ”

“ A low key Peruvian spot in Kearny. The food at this place taste awesome. You can tell it was made with love. Service is excellent. Decor is a bit crazy, but it's presentable. I strongly encouraged you to try the Lomo Saltado. For me there were only two (2) issues. The first time I came here they had no water bottle and second time they had no ice. Small thing for me, but I am sure for someone else would be a big deal. Overall the experience was good. Waiter is a big on the talky side, but she means well. ”
